Petroglyphs La Zarsa

Rock carvings can be found all over the world. Some figurative images are considerably more than 30,000 years old, many other abstract carvings are a few thousand years old, only. Surprisingly, the same typical shapes such as spirals, meanders or labyrinths have been discovered in quite distant locations, even on different continents.

There is a lot of speculation about the meaning of the petroglyphs, but a reliable explanation will probably remain hidden forever.
